But if you think you do, go here.
I think I may be edging on to another one of those periods of mass activity, both good and bad. I've already had two of the Bad Things Happen In Threes occur. I got a flat tire yesterday, and my air conditioning in my apartment broke the first time I attempted to turn it on this year. The flat wasn't really traumatic. I must've driven over some random debris on the Beltway or 66, because I got to work just fine. But when I went to leave last night, it was flatter than gravity-affected teats. So I got Merchant's to come over (they're about 100 yards from my office), take the car and put two new tires on the front and do an alignment. I drove the car back to my parking lot at work and there the car will sit until tomorrow night. I have to take the company truck home with me tonight because I have shows and deliveries first thing tomorrow morning.
The air conditioning thing really ticked me off. The part of the system that takes the condensed humidity out of the building has backed up again (this happened last year too, and I thought they fixed it), so I woke up this morning to the sound of water dripping from my sheetrock drop-ceiling onto the carpet I had professionally cleaned after this happened last year. Dammit. This is going to mean a day off work when I really can't afford a day off work right now.
I'm dreading what the third thing is going to be.
But, in other news, stuff both here and at Cherry Red are going really well. I signed on for another year as Resident Stage Manager, and the last show of this season (Schoolgirl Figure - a twisted comedy about girls starving themselves for attention) starts rehearsals this weekend. Plus, I think I may have cashed my last paycheck at the measly pittance they call a living wage that they've been paying me for the past two years. The VP said that he'll be submitting a new salary number for me sometime this week. Joy.
I had some fuckled up dreams this weekend. Remarkable first is the fact that I remembered having dreams at all. Second is the fact that they were somewhat complex. I'll post the stuff I wrote about them later.
