Ok, so today, November 15, is the first chance I've had to sit down at the computer for any prolonged length of time since September. More or less in this order, this is what I've been up to.
- Closed Cherry Red's Spamlet: One of the few shows I've ever worked on that's run that long (8 weeks, three shows a week) where I didn't really wish the show to go away. Remember the name Anton Dudley... he's making waves in the NY scene right now, and it's just a matter of time before he gets some major recognition for something he's written.
- Didn't get picked off by the sniper. By the time they caught them, everyone down here was getting really irritated - just in general. Every day was like a long-assed Monday morning. That, and the bobbing-and-weaving some people were doing at the gas stations was a little amusing.
- Because of the sniper, people stopped having parties and stuff, so business around here went to a near-standstill, and the company ended up not making payroll for two weeks. That sucked. We're supposed to get that check sometime next month.
- The next Cherry Red show went into production - Dingleberries. Fourteen short plays all set in a bathroom. I love that I now get paid to watch people do stuff that I used to get in trouble for doing in third grade. Fart humor kicks ass. *phoot*
There's been a bunch of other small stuff - car problems, my new crush (that I can't do anything about because I work with the woman) - all stuff too boring for mass consumption.
Now I set about catching up with my Friends list entries from the past six weeks. Oy.
