LJ: A (Cherry) Red Letter Day

Today, Cherry Red spread across this town like the plague. Or cow shit. Or cancer. Spamlet in rehearsal, Schoolgirl Figure in the midst of its extended run, and the return of Day Old Plays. I haven't seen final numbers yet, but I do know that Cherry Red went head to head with itself tonight - Day Old at Warehouse and Schoolgirl at Metro, and BOTH shows sold out, to the tune of over 200 people.

I'd write more about it, but there are about 70 people (casts and production staffs of the three shows), myself included, who are absolutely fuckling exhausted, and some of us have rehearsal in just a few hours.

I wish I could tell you how gratifying this exhaustion I feel is.
