1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
- Had jobs in four states. (Previous record: two.)
- Had a stroke.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
- I made no resolutions last year. I have made some for '06, and I'll let you know in 365 days whether or not I've kept them. There are 5 of them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
- No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
- John Vazquez.
5. What countries did you visit?
- None.
6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
- Money. Confidence.
7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
- June 28. A date which will live in infamy.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
- Eating healthy & losing 30 lbs.
9. What was your biggest failure?
- Not having won more bread.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
- June 28.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
- For myself? Well my TF Alternators collection is kinda cool...
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
- My friends & family, especially those who were able to come down and see me in the hospital. That meant so much.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
- Politicians.
14. Where did most of your money go?
- To Jennifer.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
- Getting out of the hospital. Going to Red Rocks.
16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
- Bartender, DMB.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Happier. I sense I'm regaining control.
b) thinner or fatter? Thinner.
c) richer or poorer? Slightly "richer". But it's relative.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
- Working.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
- Beating myself up. Wasting time.
20. How will you be spending (did you spend) Christmas?
- Jenn's family in NY, my family in PA.
21. Did you fall in love in 2005?
- Yep. Not every day, but far, far more often than I ever suspected I would two-plus years into a relationship.
22. How many one-night stands?
- Zero.
23. What was your favorite TV program?
- The multiple viewings of Tommy Boy I saw on TBS while in the hospital (the most TV I've watched in years).
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
- No.
25. What was the best book you read?
- War of the Flowers, by Tad Williams.
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
- Erm... don't think I personally discovered anything. Hanson turned me on to Four Day Hombre.
27. What did you want and get?
- Are we talking about Christmas here? Well, I wanted and got no traffic jams going up or coming back. Besides that, though, I got some fairly expensive ColdFusion books that I've been coveting.
28. What did you want and not get?
- This. :)
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
- Serenity.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
- My 32nd birthday saw me in Iowa for a lighting gig. On that particular day I was sitting near the Red Rock Dam. That night I grilled pork(!).
31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
- Getting that one job.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
- Downsizing.
33. What kept you sane?
- Jennifer. My docs. My mom.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
- Angelina. Always Angelina.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
- The right's ongoing struggle to deny the existence of reality. Delusional behavior at its finest.
36. Who did you miss?
- Chris. Travis. Craig.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
- Drs. Fifi, Merino and Goldie.

- Don't waste time.
